“Water is no one’s property and the provision of it is a fundamental human right”, with this notion, ActionAid Bangladesh, together with other country programmes in South Asia has been engaged in the discourse of ‘Water Commons’, since 2008-09. Water is at the heart of ensuring community resilience, and ActionAid Bangladesh (AAB) has been strongly advocating for water justice and the rights of rivers in its policy advocacy and programmatic intervention.
