Rohingya Response

In the humanitarian context of the Rohingya refugee influx in Bangladesh, ActionAid Bangladesh works in cooperation with government institutions and humanitarian stakeholders. We prioritize women and girls, ensure safe participation, and support accountable aid delivery in displacement settings.

Background

Since the 2017 influx, Rohingya families in Bangladesh continue to face risks related to protection, food, health, and WASH services. Our response focuses on protection and psychosocial support, dignity and safety for women and adolescent girls, and improved access to essential humanitarian services.

• Protection from GBV and abuse through women-safe spaces and support services
• Access to basic health, WASH, and dignity support for women and children
• Community participation, accountability, and rights-based humanitarian advocacy
